After lunch, we headed down to Sentosa for a bit of beach fun. We had 2 compliment rail tickets so we thought it'll be an experience to see what it's like. I borrowed 1 corporate Islander card so that Grandma Lee can come with us for free too. We parked the car at Vivo City before enjoying the rail ride from Vivo city to Sentosa Palawan beach.
Yee Sinn initially wasn't very sure what sand was. I thought she would be upset with sand between her fingers and toes but I was so wrong! She very quickly got used to the sand and before we knew it, she was enjoying the waves as well. I must remember to bring her arm float the next time we hit the beach.
Initially, Yee Sinn had some sand on her hand and she was a little unsure what to do. She had a conversation with her papa and it went something like this: "Papa! Na.. Na.." ("Na" in chinese means take) So hubby just took her hand and put it into the sea water and said "Yee Sinn... see, no more sand. It's Magic!"
So this picture shows Yee Sinn playing with more sand. It took us quite a while to convince her it was time to wash up. We didn't stay at the beach for too long because we wanted to catch the animal show. Told hubby that we should make a date to take her back to the beach for a longer period
Yee Sinn really liked the animal show. She was visibly excited when the audience cheered and clapped. The animals included a monkey, dog, birds of prey such as hwak and eagle, macaws and snake.
A while later, much to Grandma Lee's horror, we volunteered her on stage where she got to carry a 32kg albino snake! WAHAHAHHAAH!
