We were at Grandma Chang's place over the weekend. In her little garden stands a pomelo tree and it has just began to fruit. Every time Yee Sinn plays at the garden, she'll never fail to give a small pat on the lower hanging fruits.

Our little girl is behaving like grown-ups these days. She likes to imitate the tasks that we adults do. I guess she just wants to be like us... she loves to water the plants although I think she's more intersted in playing with the water and getting wet. It's never too early to get her to love gardening. Heh heh.

Our little helper watering the pandan leaves. Guess it's an early start to cultivate some green fingers. Oh, I've been getting her to help me water my plants at home too. She loves carrying the empty pails to the kitchen once her task is done. Will try to take some pictures of her while she's at it one of these days.

Later in the evening, we brought her to a playground at Lorong 5. The playground, called Sensory Garden, hasn't been opened to public yet. But nevertheless, we squeezed through the fencing and explored the area. It has a lovely children's playground as well as a senior citizen corner. As in all things new, the slides and tunnels were clean and colourful.

It was quite an interesting place and I'm sure we'll be going to the Sensory Garden more often once it's officially opened. Looking forward to it. It's nice staying at Toa Payoh! Lots of things to do and places to explore.
